production number?

hey gents i was reading how to register as an NLOC member, and i noticed i needed to know my trucks production number. im the second owner of the truck and i dont have the build certificate. i bought my truck thru an SVT dealer, but they didnt have the cert. so how do i get the production number without having the build certificate. do i have to send my VIN to Ford or what?? any help would be great, cuz i cant become a member without it...
