Pimpxshift issues

I’ve had issues with my pimpx for years from not being able to find a tuner in Texas to having nothing but transmission nightmares, is there anyone that could help me remote tune it, 1 issue I’ve been having lately is the truck will randomly misfire, it’ll run good then after it warms up it’ll start sputtering, every now and then it’ll backfire trough the intake, never had this issue until I took it to someone to tune it and the guy flaked and left it running like shit, loaded my base tune again and since then it does that. Trans issues are still there i have to give it full throttle for it to shift into 3rd if not it’ll just stay over revving until it finds the next gear

I have stock ignition and fuel system
Thinking about getting a new msd box and distributor have a feeling my stock distributor is causing the random misfires might be a bad pip on it

Msd won't fix anything. The running behavior is definitely timing related.

Upload your tune files (current and current trans) and a data log of a short drive as long as it captures the problem. I'm betting we can get you on the right path.

Haven’t been able to send a datalog my aem afr gauge hasn’t been working, had some wiring get caught on my steering column and it ripped everything apart, re wired it and now it won’t work so gotta troubleshoot it

finally got my afr gauge working again, truck has been running good then starts misfiring sputtering and backfiring from exhaust and intake out nowhere, has new wires and new dist rotor

had taken it to get it tuned, ran great while getting it tuned then it started doing this misfiring stuff and tuner bailed on me, so went back to my base file

as far as the transmission talked to paul at punisher and we think it might be the valve body truck goes into third and wont shift 1st or 2nd at times

thank you, heres a data log of the idle afr keeps fluctuating, ts shows 14/18.90 my aem gauge shows 14/19.00, I've had the same o2 sensor for years since buying the ecu with the 14point7 wideband, never used the new one from the aem so might have to replace it

I completely forgot this weekend. I can't use the log viewer on my work computer. So I dropped the ball. Getting old sucks.

Usually a dying O2 sensor sticks in one spot rather than fluctuating.

She's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too lean. Everywhere. Your average AFR over 10 minutes of driving was 16.2:1 on a 14.2 average target. By comparison, on a 15 minute drive a couple of weeks ago, my red truck was 14.7 on a 14.8 target (On the highway, I run 15.5).

What's your full combo? The tune file is ranged for nearly 30 lbs of boost. Most of it looks fine, but fueling is way off. What injectors? Batch fire like stock? Running ~40 psi fuel pressure Key On/Engine Off?

This might take a couple of stabs to fix, but the root cause is it's simply very, very lean.

I second the fuel pressure question, everything looked good for a batch fire SBF. It just looks like it would if your fuel pressure was lower then it was when it was tuned.

I know from recent experience slight changes in static fuel pressure can cause a cascade of issues.
