Hey guys just thought I would ask a quick Q?

I have a 99 lightning and the paint I would say is in fair/good condition.

Now without a respray and doing this in your own driveway what would you guys do from start to finish to have this baby looking her best?? I do have a buffer...just thought I would add that.

thanks

I've never tried it but... Stacy on an episode of "trucks" wet sanded a 96 or so explorer. Results were pretty good. Very tidious work. But paint almost looked new.

Don't know what detailing products you use but give this article on Meguiars a read. It's a little long but will give you all the info you need on proper paint care. Be sure you Clay Bar. It will make all the difference. 95% of a show car finish is in the prep work. Basically you will want to...
1) Wash
2)Clay Bar/Cleaning/Prepping
3) Polish
4)Protect/Wax
5)Maintain

HTH!
