O2 sensor factory wiring

I was wondering if anyone know what the colors the wires should be and what each one does. I'm getting ready to install my pimpxshift but I has a spartan 3 not the too so I want take sure I wire it up correctly. Basically I need to know what's power, ground, and signal to the ecm. I made a harness that will plug in to the factory coneector to get everything I need to make it work as far as power ground and signal. Just need to know what each wires color is and what it does. Thanks in advance guys
 
This is how I wired my 93...

Factory wire - Spartan 2
Black - White
Purple/Orange - Red
Grey/Blue - Green
Orange - Black

Now what really screwed me up was using the wiring from the O2 sensor as a harness to retain the factory plug. It took some time to figure out which of those wires went where as they were colored...

O2 sensor - Spartan 2
White - White
White - Red
Black - Green
Grey - Black

So this is really how mine is wired, and I suggest you check your wiring to make sure the colors are the same.

Factory wire - O2 sensor - Spartan 2
Black - White - White
Purple/Orange - White - Red
Grey/Blue - Black - Green
Orange - Grey - Black

Now that I look at the wiring diagram for the Spartan 3 I'm not sure how much of this info will help. :headscratch:
 
What does the PiMPxshift instructions say they are?

There aren't any instructions for wiring the spartan 3 as it no actually a part of the kit. The spartan 2 was on back order with no date set for them so they asked me if I was cool with the spartan 3 and I said sure. I know how to wire it just don't know what wires are on the factory harness.
 
So there isn't any wire for the spartan 3 like the spartan 2 has. I made a harness to connect to the factory wire so that I could wire up the spartan 3

I googled the Spartan 2 and went to the instructions and found this.

I’m pretty sure these will help you figure out which wire is which in the truck.
 
I guess I just have to figure out what the orange wire in the factory harness is for. That's the only on not listed in the instructions

So it seems that the orange wire is for a signal return so I'll have to figure out how that play in to connecting to the spartan 3

Signal return is another name for signal ground or in this case "Electronics" ground

Did you put a test light on it and see if it’s key 12v power like it says in the instructions?

Let’s see if we can eliminate what it’s not.
 
So it should wire that to pin 3 on the spartan 3 correct. The pic is the layout for the spartan 3 that came with it.

Jamie I haven't done anything yet, I've been really busy at work and haven't had the time but I plan one routing the harnesses this weekend.

No I talked to stinger themselves and they told me where the wires going on the spartan 3 but didn't speak on the factory truck wires

I'm going to reach out to them again to make sure. But if the orange signal return wire is just an electronic ground then I have it all figure out then. I originally was thinking that I would have to run another ground but it seem that if orange is a ground for the electronics then I won't have to.

On my wiring schematic it looks like the orange wire goes to pin 49 at the 60 pin connector which is supposed to be HO2S GND

The gray with the light blue wire goes to pin 29 at the 60 pin connector which looks like HO2S

The purple with the orange wire appears to go to a 15 amp fuse E in the engine compartment fuse box (hot in run)

The black wire looks like a ground wire which shows it to be in the right front of engine compartment on fender apron.

You’ll have to confirm all that with a multimeter.
