Any real advantage to going 16v at that power level?Been looking at 16v batteries, the weight shown is with a lead acid battery in the back, so a 15lb lithium 16v would save a good amount of weight.
Hmm interesting. I run antigravity 12v batteries when I want to drop weight. My lightest one is like 3lbs. Will crank my trucks up no problem. I know 16v is supposedly pretty good for ignition stuff with CDI coils. Not sure if the regular smart coils benefit from it besides lowered dwell.Weight, and apparently all the electronics perform better
You actually bring up a good point, but I figure if I am going to spend the money on lithium I am going to 16v. I'll check on Antigravity.Hmm interesting. Yes they do. Been good for me so far. Definitely a good option for race only type batteries. You actually bring up a good point, but I figure if I am going to spend the money on lithium I am going to 16v. I'll check on Antigravity.
Edit: They have really good prices, 12v is certainly MUCH cheaper than 16v.
Now if what I wanted was in stock LOLYes they do. Been good for me so far. Definitely a good option for race only type batteries.

Which one were you looking at?Now if what I wanted was in stock LOL
I really like this one, looks like they are out of a lot of chargers as well. https://antigravitybatteries.com/products/starter-batteries/extreme-power/ytx20/Which one were you looking at?

I basically have that one and the ATX-30. It's over 900 cranking amps and very light as well.I really like this one, looks like they are out of a lot of chargers as well. https://antigravitybatteries.com/products/starter-batteries/extreme-power/ytx20/
Lithium seems to crank faster than AGM to me in general for some reason. That fast cranking and lower voltage drop were some of the things I heard about 16V regardless of lithium or AGM, obviously lithium wins the weight war.
