New Old Guy

Hey guys. New member here. Been a Ford guy all my life, mostly early mustang, but had a fair share of Cougars, F100 Bumps, OBS F150s and a sweet 95 Bronco.

After 22 years of modifying a 65 Fastback mustang, I traded for a 16k mile ‘93 Gen1. Wanted something that rode good, had AC/PS/PB and ran smooth. Gonna enjoy this truck for years to come.

Welcome! Look forward to pictures of the truck

Both of those rides are really gorgeous! The older I get the more I appreciate driving my Lightning vs my Mustang.... and the Mustang is a 2014!

The Mustang was nice, yes. I spent a lot of years working on it. I just reached a point were I was going to have to sink big bucks into it to take it to the next level, and i’m too old/fat/lazy now.

Another new old guy that let his 66 Chevy twice go to the son of the man he bought it from in 1974. Purchased an '03' L to replace the '01' L his gf's daughter bumped into R on an entrance ramp turning about 5 grand just barely past a Peterbuilt. I'ii never forget the sound nor will she. Looking forward to adding to the 3,200 existing miles.

Wow, I once stuck a 76 Granada into R at about 20 mph.... but that was on an empty patch of country blacktop!
