Good Morning, I am relatively new to the truck world. I currently have a 2000 F150 that I would like to build into a lightning clone of some sort. I plan on starting with suspension and wheels.

I guess my first question would be, what are the width restrictions for front and rear wheels?

Thank you

Welcome! I don’t know if this will help or not, but when the Gen 2 Lightning came out I put a set of Lightning wheels/tires on my 97 F150. I had no issues, and since the factory rim is 18x9.5 I would say that is a good place to start. Hope this helps.

Thank you,

I was thinking of 18x12” wide in the rear and factory in the front. I didn’t know if anyone ever had any issues with rubbing in the rear with maybe a 345 tire. I do t plan on building a drag truck but I want something that looks low and mean.
