Hi everyone! Just joined to see if I can get advise on my 2002 F150 Lightning. One of the heads is messed up.... spark plug keeps popping out. If you had the money to fix it would you put a Ford head on it or would you go ahead and swap out both heads for some ported heads the truck is still under ext. warranty but they wont cover? I dont really plan to race the truck so what is the advantage on getting ported heads? Thanx

Hey whats up,
I might not be too much help but if your not going to be racing your truck i wouldnt bother with ported heads, ported heads will increase gas flow making your car more efficient and producing more power, but i dont know if its worth it, there are plenty of other bolt on parts for quick power for a street truck. But hey thats just me..good luck with your truck.
