new Lightning

Knew it was a dealer build.
HELLO FOMOCO.
We want a "Street Performance" truck as well as a dessert racer.

I like my Tremor, it seems to have plenty of get up and go.
I am decently sure, the V8 is on it's way out, in the next 10 to 20 years, probably only electric.

The oil industry will keep us in gas powered cars for awhile yet.

More elec and smaller engines Yes all electric etc not in that short time frame.

The handwriting is on the wall. The internal combustion engine is on the way out. Now lets debate how generating capacity (powerplants) would have to increase to charge cars. Electrons come from somewhere...

Possibly but it will be a while before it is defunct.

Agree on the whole pollution saving BS cuz the electricity has to be produced as mentioned.

Not really "pollution saving BS", cause it depends on **how** the electricity is produced. Splitting hairs I know, but the end result can be cleaner. Granted you have to take in to account how the batteries and their byproducts are made as well as what you do with them once they are no longer useful in the vehicle.

Anyway, as we are all hotrodders we will always figure out how to make something faster, doesn't have to be internal combustion even if that's our favorite.

Yes it is BS.
Like any thing your trading one evil (co2) for another
Like battery by products in the landfill polluting the dirt instead of the air.
Like nuclear and spent fuel rods heck there only "nasty" for a few thousand yrs" whats the worry.

Dump that lead and other hard metals as well as chemicals from batteries in the ground.

Dirty air

Dirty dirt.

Heck even horse produce methane we cant win.

I get it they are coming just dont really see it as better or less pollution. Sorry.
