Think this site will be revived and LR will swirl the bowl.
Not too hard to increase the height if you have a detached garage.. This is what a friend of mind did:
He bought a 4 post lift, assembled it in the middle of the garage and then using 4x4"s built a large a wood frame on top of the lift and just short of the garage rafters.
Next he assembled 4 ft knee / pony walls the length and width of the garage and sheathed them with plywood
He then either removed or cut all of the fasteners along the top sill plate around the perimeter of the garage.
Now using the lift with the wood frame on it he lifted the entire garage roof up until he could insert and attach the knee / pony walls to the sill plate all the way around.
Then he lowered the roof and secured it to the knee / pony walls.
And it was done except for extending the wiring for lights and whatnot, adding 4 ft of siding along the outside and moving the lift to the spot he wanted it.
