New 5.0 on the highway

I was on the highway with my wife and dog in the truck when a new 5.0 mustang came up and wanted to race. We were already doing 85 when he showed up. I knew he wanted to race because he was taunting me for a mile or so. It is always hard to race with your wife in the truck and a puppy bouncing around but I gave it a valiant effort. I let it rip and pulled a few car lengths before he ate me alive. I guess thats what happens when you race a new 5.0 with a nearly stock L. It might be karma catching up with me for embarassing all of the eclipses, civics, and what ever else the teenage kids are driving in this town. By the way, why does everyone with a new Nissan pickup think that they can hang with us? I keep smoking them and they just keep coming back for more.
