I have acquired an 02 lightning. The exhaust is not stock. It a hack job without any cats. It also has a cai. The tune is supposed to be stock. Am I on borrowed time with these mods on a stock tune or is it OK to run like this?
Its okay to run like this, a tune will likely help your truck run better and probably save you a little MPG but really with your mods. You will be fine.
^^^ True! I missed that.. a tune will delete that or a false plug that will fool the ECU. However, it still wont affect how the truck runs. It will be loud due to no cats and an engine code or whatever should pop up due to no cats.
