Need help with sct x3 tuner

ok i went to load the custom tune in my truck and it said error ecu reprograming did not load have no clue on whats wrong i even loaded the stock tune and try and see if it programmed that way
 
i also need some help on taking some timing out i ask around and found i need to take 16 degrees out but the sct tuner only goes to 14 my question is do i take 14 out of global spark or spark throughout the rpm range?
