WELL I GOT TRUCK RUNNING A LITTLE BETTER, AND I BEAT A NEW LIGHTNING, I WA HAPPY AS ALL HELL, BUT IT STILL NEEDS SOME TUNING , IM GETTING A HIGH RPM LEAN OUT, SO IM STILL PLAYING, THIS IS GETTING FUN GOING FAST, LATER RICH
 
Sounds great Rich. Did you go to the track, or did you race that L on the street? Gotta be great to surprise a Gen2 owner! Gotta watchout for those first Gens cause theres alot not stock anymore, hehe!

Glad to hear it's working better,but if you're beating up on the new L's,I just might have to do some 'tuning' of my own!! No really,I know how totally frustrating it is when you spend a bunch of money,then a bunch of time to install a part and things get screwed up. Now you gotta get some timeslips to brag about.

Mike, you have a Cobra R. Damn, when do I get to see it. You know on of the other guys out there at Atco that one night also has a Cobra R, Greg Jones, not sure whether its a 93 or 95 though.

I think it's safe to say my R is tucked away for the winter 'cause there is already salt on the roads.Yuck! Glad I took it for a spin (and some tire smoke and some 2nd gear chirps and some ....) last weekend.It is'nt super fast in a straight line,but fast enough.It is a blast to drag race though.I love shifting,the L's are too easy to race.All you have to do is hook 'em up,then you can play w/ the stereo all the way down the 1/4 mile.Thank God my R has a 5speed 'cause it does'nt have a stereo!! Have to bring it to Atco in the spring when everybody goes.I can't wait,winter sux!
I want a 6speed in my L!!!!!!!!!

I'll bring it next time,whenever that will be. Anyone know if Atco is still open.I have to check my schedule.If it rains a little to clean off the roads,I'd drive it down there this time of year.I just don't drive it in the rain/snow/salt,you know.Although it will be chilly.I disconnected the heater hoses from the heater core in hopes of prolonging the core's life.They're such a pain to change,I think I'd rather be cold!
