Got it fired up and did 2 heat cycles for break in. Even got a test drive in! Surprisingly the 427 is not really loud with the short 3.5" exhaust.

I bought some scales and it came in under 3k at 2973lbs.

Was that weight with or without you? If without I’m curious to see what the numbers look like with you in it.

That was empty, no fluids. I was SUPER happy it came in under 3K. I haven't put it back on the scales,but I figure wet,with me - 150lbs - in it,it'll be about 3175lbs. Not Foxbody light for sure,but I'll take it. Of course I've been thinking about ways to get weight out of it,but kind of silly. It'll make power easy and be plenty fast as is.
