Machine Shop Recommendation

Looks like I've done damage to my 2003 F150 LightningWantaBe! 14psi boost plus 125,000miles plus maybe tune - damaged engine. So, I'm building up short block with new parts, but I need to take heads to someone local to redo. Not sure what they'll need, but looking at new valves and good valve job. Truck is daily driver and only looking for no more than 500hp/500ftlbs.

Any thoughts?:help:

Also, should I replace lifters and springs? With or w/o high lift cams?

Talk to JJ at Woodbine!!!

You are one of the lucky people that are close enough to JJ to drive to! (assuming that since you are on the LOOM forum lol)

I'm in Southern Maryland, but yes. In fact I will be near there next Tuesday. Does he have a machine shop? Could not tell by his web site. He justsaid to call him. Let me know what you think!

Do yourself a favor and call and talk to JJ. I blew my motor and after calling around and pricing, it is IMPOSSIBLE to beat jj's service. I've had my motor built for about 1yr and a half, and it has had no problems whatsoever other than a bad coil pack. He will get you up and running, and most importantly, up and running correctly, before he'll let the truck leave.
