looking for autocross tires or slicks

I run them on my scca trans am. 255-50-15s. Have not run the L autocross yet.

I was wondering if any one could tell me what tire i could find that would work on open track and auto-x i know that is a double edge sord but it sure would be nice i have a friend that ran four auto x and one day at summit point and tires were gone they were hoosier

hoosier are good but they wear out to fast. thats my two sense.

What about some street tires that would serve double duty on the auto-x? Right now the L has goodyear eagle's on it, and I seam to hear great things about them (insert sarcasm here).

Haven't been tire shopping for a L in almost two years, but I really liked the Nittos. I did pretty good with them until I went down to the 17" wheels.
