I know there should be some out there. They were used in the '89 - '91 2wd E4OD's. Those pickups still used a speedo cable. Just wondering if you had a source for inexpensive ( cheap, I paid $50 for one w/o the gear ) ones. My supplier ( A&Reds in Wichta) couldn't find one on there shelf.

I'll need one if I ever switch to a 9".

Isn't the reluctor wheel only used for the output speed sensor on 4R100's? I'm looking for an old school, mechanical speedo (cable) capable output shaft. If I want to install an E4OD behind my 7.5 EFI in my '80 F-150 w/ '90 interior or if I want to use a Mustang speed sensor in the tailshaft housing of my L so I can use the stock speedo/computer w/ out modifing a 9" for a VSS then I need one w/ the cut teeth like a C6 output shaft.
 
I am not sure, But I think a C6 and a E40D us the same size out put shaft. So the gear should slip right on. That is I am thinking fo the right thing here.
