Lightning Brakes

I just got my '00 on Friday. And I couldn't be happier.

My question is on the rear brakes. Ford says they should be 13.1" vented. I haven't measured them yet, but I can tell they sure aren't vented. I'm wondering if I got short-changed or was Ford's marketing a bit to optimistic. What does everybody else have for rear discs?

My 2000 also has solid rear brake rotors. Your right in that the SVT site says vented rears on their website.

Could just be a typo on their part though.

On the rear, vented shouldn't really be necessary. Solids are more durable and have less warp and hysteresis problems as well. Personally, I wouldn't consider solid rotors to be shortchanging, especially given my lousy luck with Ford's vented rotors.
