It's going to happen men.

Maybe not this month. Maybe not this year, but its going to happen.

Honestly your best defense against it is go and buy yourself and/or your family weapons ... now.

I've been doing some reading lately. Apparently even those arms historically omitted from ban talks (i.e. rifles and shotguns) will, to am extent, be included as well. Not in as much as the firearm itself will be banned, but any accessory construed as tactical (pistol grips, tactical rails, fore ends) which makes the weapon most conducive to personal defense, will be affected.

they, being world gverment want defensless sheep! I hope that everyone realizes that every country "ie" austrailia, britian that oulawed weapons the crime rate tripled.

Here is a little something to ponder. For what its worth.

From: Ed Chenel, A police officer in Australia:

Hi Yanks, I thought you all would like to see the
real Figures from Down Under.

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in
Australia were forced by a new law to Surrender
640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our
own Government, a program costing Australia
taxpayers More than $500 million dollars.

The first year results are now in: Australia-wide,
homicides are up 6.2 percent, Australia-wide,
assaults are up 9.6 percent; Australia-wide, armed
robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 Percent)!

In the state of Victoria Alone, homicides with firearms
are now up 300 percent. (Note that While the
law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals
did not And criminals still possess their guns!)

While figures over the previous 25 years showed
a steady Decrease in armed robbery with firearms,
this has changed drastically Upward in the past 12
months, since the criminals now are guaranteed
That their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins
and Assaults of the elderly, while the resident is at home.

Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public
Safety has decreased, after such monumental effort
and expense was Expended in 'successfully ridding
Australian society of guns....' You Won't see this on
the American evening news or hear your governor
or Members of the State Assembly disseminating
this information.

The Australian experience speaks for itself. Guns
in the Hands of honest citizens save lives and property
and, yes, gun-control Laws affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note Americans, before it's too late! Will you be one
of the sheeple to turn yours in? WHY? You will need it.

Peace To You

I urge all of you guys to PLEASE be responsible. I am sympathetic but so many gun owners dont take any responsibility which has created the problems we have today. People that are not allowed to own a firearm always seem to get them.... Shouldnt be a news flash but they get them from us.

I know people personally that have purchased firearms for family that cant get a permit. Know one that bought one for a fresh out of prison crackhead uncle who proceeded to trade it for crack... Know people that lay guns all over their house "just in case" and have them all cleaned out in one robbery when they were not home. Had a neighbor leave loaded handgun laying out on nightstand, leave on vacation, stolen. Last year a 6 year old pulled one from parents nighstand and shot/killed 3 year old cousin accidentally. Everyday kids are taking guns to school.

This is all in the news and public knowledge. That combined with talks of bans SHOULD wake people up, and get them to start being responsible. Talking to friends and co-workers a few have realized they have a loaded deadly weapon but many still dont.

Maybe instead of a ban they can implement an IQ test. Anybody at 3rd grade level or lower would not be authorized.....

IMO a total gun ban WILL NOT happen in the US.
Guns are not the issue or problem. A degrading society with no personal responsibility and no real punishment any longer has allowed people to feel they can do whatever n no real consequences. Back before political correctness took over everything if someone committed a haness act or was deemed crazy they were put away or executed with out all the BS we have now.

The gun is the instrument used not the cause of it.
Just as a drunk that kills another while driving. Is it the cars fault or the drunks fault. Should we ban the car or make it illegal to drive intoxicated. Since it is illegal to drive drunk we must next ban cars. WAY more people even children are killed by drunk drivers than by firearms each year.

We must stand up and defend our constitutional right or the left wing people will trample over it and we will be the next socialist nation to emerge from it.

It is up to US as citizens to stand up for OUR rights. I KNOW I will.

Cars and tobacco kill more people each year then guns we gonna outlaw them too!!! What we need is to fix are broken government not pass more laws.

I totally agree that we have many weak laws. Outlaw cars? Well in my OP many people that do shouldnt have a drivers license and many people shouldnt have a firearms permit either.

What happened to hard labor for committing a crime? Not humane? So I work a lifetime of hard labor so low lifes can sleep in, watch TV, play games, and jack off all day in prison?

I have similar issues with guns as I do DUIs. If you have a firearm permit you buy firearms for yourself and nobody else. YOU are responsible. If you buy one for somebody else, let your kid get it, or let any person not legally aloud to take it and not report is stolen you should be responsible. I believe people that pull crap like this should be held accountable as if they pulled the trigger, and be revoked of firearms permits for life.

DUIs same thing. So you read john doe DUI, next week driving on revoked, 30 days in jail then driving on revoked. How? Same issue. The state will take your car after a couple, some relative or friend then loans you their car. Guess what if you loan a car to somebody without a license you should be held accountable for that as well.

I have no sympathy for people that contribute to the problem. The pro gun 2nd amendment push is scary because of the reckless attitude I see it creating..... Thats why I urge you guys to be responsible.

I personally know educated adults going nuts right now with firearms, ammo, placing them all over their house in their car, buy as many as possible. When I ask why they all say the same thing.... It is my right, need to arm up in case they are banned.
