Just got my Hotchkis springs and was wondering if any of you had any tips for installing the front springs?
 
Sure, take the control arm out. It makes it a lot easier than breaking th ball joint loose. just make sure that you use a spring compressor and then take out the lower control arm. You can install the clunk washer during installation. Also makes it easier to install camber kit on the upper arm, while you are in there. You are going to need an alignment afterwards anyway.
 
Thanks. I was trying to break the upper balljoint loose and it just was not happening.
 
Thay can be a stinker sometimes. I've never been able to split a ball joint without ripping the boot. Good Luck.
