Help on installation of intake

I tried putting my smooth intake on today & it was too tight on the MAF sensor side that I couldn't get it on. Any hints or tips on getting it on. I tried WD-40 but it just wouldn't go on. Thanks for any info. Sam
 
I was reading on one of the other sites that you need to cut a tab off the MAF tube first.

I visit so many sites I cant remember - maybe the L section over at F150Online...???
