It's been a while since the last GB for Gaylord's lids (AUG 2004) and finally, we are having another this year:

PLAIN (no wing): $888
SPEEDSTURR (wing): $940.21

For comparison, the last GB pricing is listed below:
Lightning AND Harley Regular X2000 - $756.70
Lightning AND Harley Speedsturr X2000 - $809.23

NOTE: shipping is EXTRA to your zip code

Yup, the prices have gone up but you get the following upgrades:
1. single lock (vs. 2 in previous models)
2. rotary latch (automotive style)
3. 12 volt light
4. emergency release handle
5. remote control

The lid will come painted-to-match with the underside already carpeted, complete with all mounting hardware

So here's what you can do:
1. start checking your cash flow situation
2. call your local retailer and get a price quote (for comparison)
3. decide if you are still in and post here as READY TO BUY (RTB)


Need a GB buyer minimum of 20, already have 5 RTB over @ NHTOC. NOTE: only paid members are eligible to join this GB. And YES, Nan will verify the buyer list before orders are processed.

I am seriously interested if I do not get a cap...I planned for a cap but love the speedstur cover with the wing too.

How heavy is it? How long does it take to remove it for hauling loads that sit higher then the top rail?

By the time I add shipping I am looking at 1100-1200 I would say, at that point I can get the cap I was looking at for a couple more hundred.

man trucks have been out so long with no new one being built it`s going to be tuff gettin 20 everyone has one that wants one by now. nice if they would use 10
 
hey KROMDOM I read your post on nhoc . you tried thats the best you can do .for me it will be hard to buy one at cost from a dealer after I saw how much they would sell 1 for. Im still in but its going to be tuff to get 20 anytime soon .do you think gaylords thinks if they don`t sell 20 will all go get one from a dealer at 1500 a pop shoot Im just a poor boy.

Kromdom, I'm going to be in on the GB. I have to get my paint code first , as the truck is in storage 20 miles away. I will post my RTB when I get the information. Thanks for the effort you are putting into this GB.
