It will not go well. If you work hard and make a decent living FEMA will not help either. Trust me. I was deemed ineligible for assistance.

I dont depend or expect the government to assist me if ever needed.

I agree. However, I don't have this type of cash laying around. I don't know many who do.

The last thing I want is to be upside down on a house.

I appreciate the offer. I had a lot of good people come help gut the house out. I am going to put it back together room by room. I am going contract out the floors and maybe the painting.

I am a maintenance man by day and contractor by night. My advice for the floors and paint is to stain the floor and spray the paint. You will save a lot of money that way. There's a sale at home depot for paint right now. Something like $40 off 5 gallon buckets. Good luck with everything.

I feel for you, what a nightmare. Something of this magnitude could take years to put back together right.
