Well the truck made its furthest drive yet 70 miles plus a bit on the speedway. Cool event, but wow it was hot. I am burnt to a crisp. I saw 2 Gen1's, a red one and a black on for sale (no pics on that one). Here's a few pics plus a tiny clip of driving on the Texas Motor Speedway.

Man, it took me a lap to realize high side wide then into the groove was the way to go. Next year I have some ideas.

So about your setup, I’m putting together parts to run a Vortech. I ran a V-1 in my black 93 back in 2002-2006. I want to run one again for obvious reasons. Getting the the parts individually is proving futile for that setup and making me think I should just get with the times and modernize a bit. A bit is defined as bolt on stuff available new without trolling eBay, forums and Craigslist for stuff to complete the project. What are your thoughts on your setup and ideas if you were to start similar on my mostly stock truck?

Ah, I see :)

I'm running a Novi 2000, which to be honest is probably harder to get parts for. Vortech stuff is much more common, but putting together pretty much any kit is going to be an exercise in Facebook, eBay, this forum, etc searching to find all the parts. Although this place is a good supplier https://www.superchargerrebuild.com/mounting-kits/ look at their Lightning kit.
