I installed a pair of ‘back up’ lights on a 2008 f-350. I wired them into to the reverse lights so that they would come on when the truck is in reverse. They work great. Well now I need to go back & install a switch so they can be turned on & off when needed. I want to disconnect the existing wiring & just run it directly off the battery with an on/off switch. I’ve never done anything like this before & would like a little guidance. I have a 15-amp switch & an inline fuse to go between the switch & the battery. Don’t I ground off the switch? Any other helpful suggestions are appreciated.
