Gen2 Springtime Checklist

Great write up thanks a lot for the info. I have a question though when I was disconnecting the pump some of the antifreeze that was drained I didn't put it back in again I used regular water and it makes a lots of bubbles in the Ic reservoir tank is that fine. Also my pump makes a lot more noise that I can actually tell is on. Before it didn't make that much noise. Should I b concern about anything. Thanks in advance.

Recommended every 20,000 mi. for diff oil change.
Waiting for next time to replace rear diff cover to
aluminum one with drain plug and girdle bolts for
strength. Also holds more fluid so thing stay cooler.
Summit has great selection and prices from around 100-220$

Replacing the IC pump is optimal but, one thing you can do is, pull the pump off and take it apart and dump out the residue from the worn out brushes. Reassemble it and install it back on the truck. It should work great again, now this fix is however a sort of temporary fix due to the fact the brushes are going to further wear out. But this will keep the pump working, I add 75% water 25% antifreeze with 2 ounces of waterwetter solution. This mixture is great for keeping the unit cool as possible.
