gen1 engine block vin # location

Hey guys,
Just wondering where the vin is stamped on the block? Going to look at a white 94 and wanted to make sure every thing was on the up and up.

dont think the vin is on the engine.

You can check for the engine stamp, it's directly above the starter, facing downwards. It should say F4TE-xxxx

Yes, the VIN is on the engine block. Its on the rear of the block behind and below where the drivers sice head would be.
