I have successfully got a tonneau cover made that works exactly like the originals form Ford.

Cosmetically is different in these ways:

1. It's black, not storm Grey.

2. Texture is a little bit finer.

3. It's hand made, so stitching may not be perfect.

4. plastic tabs are white, not grey (you don't see these when in installed)

5. Pull straps at back are a bit thicker.

6. Can be had with or without cam locks sewn on.

Anyway. I would be willing to have more made if there was interest. They will cost $550 plus shipping. (I'm thinking of rolling them up in PVC pipe)

If interested please send me a PM.

Also, if there is interest I will bring my red 99 lightning with new cover to Columbus Ford meet on SUNDAY (12/1/2019). (I can't make Saturday)

I've got 3 ready to go. I'm only going to make 6 to sell. I can sell them for $500 plus shipping. They are made of all new material including the pull straps, and cam locks. I can also include new straps (that should already be riveted to your cab frame rail). These are hand made, so there may be some minor imperfections, but they all fit snug, and wont sag or allow water to puddle. I would call this an excellent driver quality item, not for show trucks. I'ts meant to used, to keep the bed as dry as they ever did, and make it look sharp all while keeping 100% of the stock frame and function.
