I received an invite from Ford for Wednesday night. They had a dinner and then a quick intro to the Raptor. We then went up to the floor to view the Raptor. I actually love the truck. For Colorado, I think it's a way wicked machine. I would wait until the 6.2 comes out late this year or as a 2011 model. The current 5.4 three valve has around 360hp, but the 6.2 will be over 400hp. Not the street fighter like the Lightning, but still awsome none the less and would be able to take just about any off-roading you can through at it.
The car that impressed me the most however was the new Taurus. That car is really nice. The new SHO has the new ecoboost twin turbo V-6, 365hp, all wheel drive. I would love to have one. They also say with the turbo set up that there is less than a 1% power loss at 8000ft elevation with the same torque. Should be a nice low 13sec car. Hennessey is building upgrade packages for this car to be right at 500hp. whew....
