Went back to Bristol, TN this year for Cleetus & Cars… really fun event and it’s really cool seeing all these “celebrities” walking around meeting people. Burnout contest was awesome as well as the Bristol1000 the next day.
Was sitting in the stands waiting for burnout contest to begin on Saturday and I look to my left to see Mike Finnegan and his helper walking down the isle right in front of us… Sat down about 10’ away. We quickly said hi and let them be. He sat there just being a spectator for about 1.5 hours before anyone else seemed to notice him and then everyone started running up for autographs. Talked to him more on Sunday. If you follow his IG you’ll know he was driving his C10 to the event when about 30 miles out the clutch bleeder line broke, so he pulled it on the ramp truck and finished the trip.
Also met Cleetus and Derrick from Vice Grip Garage. Completely cool and nice people like you’d expect.
