I don't know what kind it is, but it closes against the top of the bed. It's hinged at the front, is lockable, and has the pneumatic struts. It was on my Gen1 when I bought it. I never use it, and now I'll be moving this summer, and won't be able to take it with me. It's black, and besides the paint being faded, it's in perfect condition. Make an offer, and I'll be willing to bring it to the Byron Dragstrip meet on April 8th, you take it from there. Dimensions are 82.5" x 70.75" so measure your Gen2 box and see if it will fit?
