Best rear main for 351W

Has anyone run the Cometic C5391 viton rear main seal? Searched the forum, but didn’t find any info. We’ve tried installing the felpro Teflon seal without removing the cap and did not have any luck getting it in. Looking for something that may hold up better than the basic brown seal commonly used. hoping to see a four digit power number with the new combination. Thanks guys and gals!
 
I haven't tried that gasket. I basically gave up on rear main seals and just accept that it marks its territory a little.
 
I've had similar issues with the last few Felpro rear mains I've had. Huge pain, but about the only thing remotely trustworthy available locally.

There's no reason we shouldn't be able to have rear main seals that don't leak. The factory managed to install one that lasted a decade or more without leaking. My driver leaks in several places, so if the rear main leaks I couldn't tell anyway. But I've also accepted the the territorial habits of my truck.
