Contact the detroit region scca. There is a large club in the area, we ran with the detroit region at a dual meet last weekend at the toledo airport. There are some nice events held in the toledo area. I split and run some with Fort Wayne In., some with the toledo group and will be watching the detroit region more closely. There is also a track time event at MIS. I may try that sometime as well.
Best way to get in is to do a search for local scca events and show up at one. There are often novice "Schools" to help get off and running as well.
