Anyone With Experience With DTC 624?

A local Gen 1 owner contacted me for advice re: hard shifts and DTC 624.

I know about the possible PCM and EPC failures and Pinpoint Test E, but if anyone has experience that turned out to be a simple fix, I’d appreciate to hear about it.
 
The MLPS sensor on the side of the trans can cause hard shifts. Never heard of DTC 624?
 
I don’t know about DTC624 either but a MAP sensor that gets water in it, will cause idle issues and hard shifts as well.
