wondering if anyone knows where i could purchase a polished alternator...i took a few minutes trying to get the cast off of the factory one but i have a feeling it will just be a pain in the a**....i did a search but can't find anything...?????? anyone have a website to throw my way or advise on gettin the cover off the stock alternator????? :?

Look for Part #1988 (4G DOHC 130 amp alternator). It fits Lightnings.
You should re-use your stock pulley however. Ford has a few different offset 8-rib pulleys and you may not get the right one.
Also, do a search on "Mr.Alternator" he sells 200 amp versions that fit Lightning's.
