Thanks Derek...weather looks iffy and I don't want to drive on wet roads on my drag radials. If I'm gonna have to put my street tires back on for the trip I may as well bring the slicks.:thumbup:

Yep, slicks are good for All Ford Drags !

It's just CCCA that requires a DOT legal tire. Part of the rules for that series.

For those reading this DO NOT forget a helmet Snell M or preferably SA 2005 rated are the oldest allowed. Also no open toed shoes, long pants, at least a T-shirt (no sleeveless shirts allowed) and a race jacket if any aftermarket power adders are installed.

Yep, raining here at 7 AM. Not a heavy rain but a STEADY rain. Will sit and wait out the morning to see what happens. If it doesn't stop by 11 AM I'm outa here to head home for the rest of the day.

Bernie is here and already talkin' about heading to PR for this evening if it doesn't quit here soon !
