after market oil pressure gauge

need help finding the oil pressure sensor

It's in the block on the front drivers side right behind the timing cover. Look in this picture where the brass pieces screw into the block.

Would sensor be the issue with low pressure reading on dummy gauge? My 190k 94 shows really low pressure on gauge but still runs strong
