Actually, they never ran. Dwight's monster broke, and it wouldn't start. Shawn's zoomer wasn't allowed on the track! They decided (after running the normal carts), that Dwight should have the 1st trophy, and Shawn should have the 2nd. Maybe we can see the fast ones next year!!!
 
He drove from Washington State to the tune of 1994 miles each way.

I drove 1450 miles each way from Massachusetts.

Yep,

We Are Staying At The Gold Coast, As Usual. Will Be There On Monday, 10/31. Will Be Leaving Thurs Morning The 3rd to Head To Denver & Pick Up Black Lightning That I Left With Friend.
 
We've been thinking of gong out there....haven't nailed down a time though. If we did go then, we'd have to get some passes for the event.

Don't know who won the mats. Actually, they were claimed by ticket number, and no identification was required. Perhaps if you asked on the Gen 1 forum?
