looking into buying my first , 95 gen1 and see in the pics it has a maf sensor in engine bay, no wiring connected but in the air duct. did this year come out with one? thanks in advance for your answers/help.

Welcome, no Gen1 Lightnings came with a MAF sensor in factory form.
There was, however, a Ford Motorsport conversion kit made specifically for the 93-95 L's.
