My buddy just started the trash talk. :nono:Wants to put up his
G35 against me at street legals opening day. 3/30
He's got a CAI and it's a stick.
I'm pretty much an all stock 94" with no mufflers.
I really don't know much about those things to
say? Anyone knocked one off recently?
 
from a dead stop you could take him if you did 93 octane, timing bump, some sort of intake modification, and ran no tailgate


i bet you could beat him in the 1/8th...0-60 you'll have him, especially if he cant drive
 
they run like 14's stock, you might want to do a few more bolt ons to insure a flawless victory.

g35s are faster than 350z .. and alot lighter .. than our trucks .. u might get the jump but hes got u .. nawwz fer the win ..
 
Out of the hole you should have him- I think by the end of the 1/8 he'll have you. Stay away from the 1/4 he'll walk you on the big end
 
350z is faster than g35. Same motor but 350 is lighter. Drop a 75 shot in the truck and run it on the 1/8. I've beat a 4 door g35 4+ cars in my 93 all I have is intake exhaust 4:10 gears and a 75 shot lol.
 
350z is not faster .. ive been in both and ive been in a race ridin in g35 .. booth drivers can drive very well and they were both stock besides exhaust .. soo . g35 has u the end

either way there rather heavy for their size, at least from what ive heard. they do have a lot of topend however 110mph+
 
Update.....94 L VS 05 G35

I smoked his *** on the 1st run.:applaud: I ran a 15.12, he ran a 19.67. He blamed leaving his traction control on.:nono: 2nd run I ran a 15.09, he ran a 14.73.
I had him at the 1/8 mile mark. I had a 9.62 and he was 9.72.
We raced several times. I got him out of the hole every time and to the 1/8th mark and then he came around at the end. My best run was,

R/T .357
60'ft 2.195
330'ft 6.246
1/8th 9.627 @ 72.56 mph
1000'ft 12.576
1/4 15.091 @ 89.26 mph

Maybe I'll get into the 14's next time out.:eek:ldtu:
