'93-95 Lightning Tranny

well for starters, its an e4od. the e4od is also used in the E series vans, but the e4od in the vans probably wouldnt plug in to your harness, and if it did, it most likely wouldnt shift right. my trans pooped about 2 weeks ago, so i pulled it and took it to Cottman Transmission (who just recently got bought out by Aamco). There, they did a full rebuild, ie (clutches, bands, TC etc etc) and it cost me about 1800 bucks to do, even though its way more expensive if they gotta pull the trans and install it themselves, then ur prolly lookin at close to 2800 for everything. also, i would find the biggest cooler you can buy, b/c heat is death to all auto trans's...
 
Yeah mine crapped out. They quoted me 1200 for the rebuild but Ive seen some guys selling them around here. Id love to find one close.
 
i have one that has been 10.50 sell trans, converter, flex plate, computer,
converter is a stallion 10" non lock up sfi flex plate computer has chip for trans and supercharger trans has alto red plates all roller good set 2000.00
