1993 Lightning Not Numbers matching. Wanting to change it up and dump the old E4od and go to stick. Thinking about a Tremec 600 TKO P#TCEC4617, was wanting to know if anyone has any info/insight.

Have both swapped to TKO’s. I’m not sure if they are 5 speed or 6.

Nice Mike! I forgot that you had a manual transmission.

seems like mike nailed all the questions right there. Glad you had that information because I did mine is like 2010 and don't remember any of the part numbers. I used the front shifter location but from my understanding that is no longer and option as they have been discontinued. Seems the middle is a good option tho.

Really? That's nuts. My 90 has a panel on the tunnel probably 12" wide and 18" long that is removable. They used one for the auto trucks that was flatter and one for the standard trucks that had a pop up for the shifter.

Yeah. I had to cut mine in my 94 as well.

Yeah...I knew this would have helped me back when I did mine so I saved it in my google docs!

I used the back shifter location. Took it out of my Mach 1 and threw this one right in place. I can't use my jumper seat or console bin thing anymore. Working on a custom console eventually! haha!

Thank you so much, and if I am not mistaken my 93 if memory is correct, does have a removable hump in the trans tunnel. Added heat and sound insulation some years back and if memory is correct the floor pans are red and there was a grey cover over the trans tunnel.

Did you use the same ecu.? I'm in the process of gathering all the stuff to do the swap. My L is mass air so idk if I would have to get a different ecu.

When I originally swapped mine it ran off the stock ECU, then I did a foxbody ECU (A9P) and MAF conversion. Which ECU are you running? Id assume the factory F series mass air ecu would be fine too.

Yup. Same ECU but it had a Jet Chip in it for the cam. I just left the switch for the auto transmission in neutral. I ended up going with a PiMPxs.
