DATE IS SET FOR FEBRUARY 15, 2014 !!!
We've all had a great time at past meets, and 2014 is the time to enjoy all we remember and more! This time, a scheduling hiccup seems like it will end up being a blessing in disguise - we've changed venues to Orlando Speed World Dragway!
That's right - hot mod motor action!!!
The track has set aside for us a separate fenced in area for our meet, and we are welcome to bring coolers, chairs, tents, grills, almost anything (although they asked for no tow-behind smokers!)
In addition to the usual fun of catching up with friends and checking out everyone's rides, for an $10.00, you can participate in test n tune that day too!! This is the time to air out all your internet grudge matches!!
Time is from 10am to 6pm

Easily Accessible from I-4, 1-95, or the Turnpike. It's also less than half an hour from Orlando Int'l (MCO) if anyone wants to fly in

Orlando has a near infinite amount of lodging options. If you're making a trip of it and taking the family to Disney or Universal, you may choose to stay somewhere else.
Given the last minute change of venue, most have booked at a lodging option near OT. For those who still haven't booked, there are options near the track as well.

What to bring and expect:
Bring your truck, bring your friends, your dog, your family, and get ready to meet everyone and enjoy the day in the sun checking out everyone's rides! :bigtu
I recommend wearing some sunscreen, depending on the weather that day, bring a couple folding chairs, feel free to bring a cooler with plenty of water, and plenty of recreational beverages! Bring some food and snacks to share too! It's a family-style event. OSW is ok with us cooking and grilling on their property, so feel free to bring a grill with you and show off your chef skills!!
For those racing, bring your safety gear and the usual stuff!
