1993 Tube bumper question

Is the trailer hitch threaded into the tube bumper? I'm trying to remove mine and it's not going well. Cant spin it, blunt force isnt working...not sure what to try to remove it!

It's just rusted. Hit it with something like PB Blaster and let it sit overnight.

Put a jack under it. If that doesn't pop it out (don't let it hit the truck), try jumping in the bed.

thanks guys, it was just super corroded and stuck. penetrating oil, time and a jack did the trick, finally out now!

If it's pressed into the bumper; perhaps a ball joint press might do the trick. You should be able to rent one from Autozone or the likes.

If it's threaded into the bumper; like Raymond said.

Nevermind; I need to read the entire thread before replying :-/
