This truck is as loaded, complete, rust-free, and ready-to-drive or -wheel as they come because it really is driven every day by a FedEx pilot who doesn't have another "main" vehicle - this is IT. It has every modern amenity that could be crammed in, but it's still truly an early Bronco to the core. '88 F150 XLT 5.0L EFI (CV intake) & AOD w/Adv.Ad. for twin-stick D20 and '88 wiring harness, true duals & Flows, A/C, cruise, tilt, Saginaw PS, PB (front D44 disk), PW, PL, removable carpet/custom upholstery/headliner, Dynamat over Rhino floor-to-ceiling, gas struts for hood & liftgate, 4-speaker Alpine system (amplifier-READY), captain's chairs comfortable for a 6'2" 240lb man, Colt Vista rear bench w/belts, rear-only cage w/front shoulder belts, 130A 3G, voltmeter, Red-top, intermittent wipers, powdercoated step tubes (now overpainted to matching tan), dual tanks, power antenna, Aluminum radiator, Energy body & suspension bushings, recent paint in 2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition colors, recent WH 3" springs all around, recent rebuilt rear 9" diff 4.10LS, recent new rear d'shaft, recent new tanks & front skidplate, recent new windshield, recent new lenses & reflectors, recent reman 4-turn steering box, 3 dome lamps & a cargo lamp, autodimming compass thermometer RV mirror, rust- & damage-free Herculined frame, rust-free undercoated body, exhaust heat wrap & shields, Cl.3 receiver, front Ford recovery eyes, fender flares & wheelwell liners, and more...
This truck will cruise comfortably at 75mph in foul weather (and faster in fair weather), and is quiet enough for a hands-free phone conversation at that speed. It will tow an 18' Aluminum boat w/90hp4s outboard on the highway, or a 4-wheeler through the woods. It's a garage-kept daily commuter/grocery-getter/soccer dad truck, and it also goes off-road almost every day for dog training & hunting. Occasionally, it even makes long highway trips from Memphis to places like New Orleans, Knoxville, & St. Louis. It gets attention everywhere it goes, but it doesn't look like a mid-life-crisis-mobile. It's no econobox, but it does get decent mileage for what it is (10-15mpg).
Like any eB, it has a few issues. A drop or 2 of rain gets through the new windshield gasket, and the Flows drone at certain speeds. Otherwise, it's just like driving any decent used SUV.
...but with a lot more style!
A folder of receipts is included for your records - not as a justification of the price since (like any other) a lot more was put into it. Contact me through my profile for more info, a time to examine & test-drive the truck, or any other questions. The truck lives in Southaven, MS, (a Memphis suburb) and it's still being driven every day. It's only being sold to make room for something that can tow a 4WD tractor and has an empty 8' bed to haul 4 dog kennels under a camper.
