Couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to do a pilot episode of a This vs. That style race for a local YouTube guy wanting to try something new. It came out okay I think considering it was just 1 guy doing all the video, at a track test n tune, and no real idea how it all would come together. Best part is I won 3/3!

Yeah I remember that… you’re from LA correct, but didn’t have your boat there this year.

Been on here for longer than I can remember, just in the last few years posting more and being more active.

yup! Same here. I changed usernames a few years back, but I've owned like 6 Lightnings over the years. two Gen2s and four Gen1s.

About to park my boat for winter projects too. The company that did your tower folded and never re-opened. So that option is out. I splurged on a Roswell Aviator tower, but the boat will need glass work and reinforcement to do it right. Starting that project in the next month or so.

Just waiting on them to release more info later this year. I sent in an expression of interest form very quick after they announced the event so maybe I’ll be lucky enough to get in. Seems like you have to be really quick once they open registration.

I’m hoping to camp at or nearby each track to keep it less expensive, plus I love camping in those areas throughout the year anyway.

Me and Billy were talking about that truck race, but it looks pretty restrictive. But it should would be fun if a bunch of Lightning's invaded next year.
