So far on the front.... Springs, clunk washers, camber bolt kit, bushings, shocks.

Plans for the rear, Already have the shackles, adding new shocks, removal of leafs, and my son is helping me fab up some custom traction bars.

Plus I'm having the underside treated with a product called "Rapture" and some tint added to the windows.

But the kid now has "the flu" so we are dealing with that at our house right now so not getting a lot completed

Well the front is complete, with new tires and all.... What a major change in the way this thing rides...

Here are the bars the kid fabbed up for the back. He did forget one thing.... "mockup - measure twice, cut once", and since I was still mocking up the rest of things I didnt have complete measurements to provide him yet.

He shows up at my door on Saturday with these really cool bars, all proud of himself..... We crawl up under the truck.... I say..."these are really going to be cool.... cept I think they might be an inch or so off.." He says "figures... I guessed - So I just gotta cut a chunk off, fill and, paint to match ha ha"-"

Stupid body tech.

Anyway...he has been working to fabricate a new frame and rear cantilever 4 link airride system for his show truck (body drop, sectioned, and chopped - and soon to lay frame) - something you gotta see. He had a bunch of parts sitting around and fabbed these up for me real fast. Now we are working on the rest of the fun stuff... then well cut'm to fit and he can do his magic all over again. I also gotta figure on a color for these things.... He had hit them up with a textured spray of somekind.... Kinda icky.

Front is done.... Handles way nice!!. The rear... Initial design and fabrication didnt go so well. I forgot the first rule in design and fabrication.."KISS". So that got thrown out. Re-design has been completed and now we are waiting on my fabricating son to do some cutting and welding for me.

As much as I hate to say it I'm kinda starting to understand and have a new found respect for the Dr. You get something, put it on, dont like it so you take it back off only to get something better to put back on.
