Drugs are makin' the problem go away !

Peterson Automotive Museum sucks. Plain and simple. You can see a better museum in Tacoma at the LeMay joint.

The NHRA museum is TOP NOTCH !!! Some of the cars there were also at CHHR but many more weren't. Some dry lakes cars, an Indy car, a big display of Banks turbos on engines and in vehicles, the first dragster (at least many consider it the first recognized one), a 6 cylinder Rambler engine that attempted to run at Indy but didn't due to tuning issues. Built my Barney Navarro it was twin turboed and raised a bunch of eyebrows during practice at Indy WAYYYYYY back when. Lots of glass display cabinets with lots of really good stuff in them and very good info about everything there. We spent nearly 3 hours and it's not a large museum ! Worth it to see if you are in the area. Even has the Challenger I LSR car there with 4 Pontiac engines. Yeah, there's a bunch of pics but they aren't uploaded yet and it might be a day or two afore I get to that !

Got them pesky pics uploaded from the NHRA museum. Man, ya need to stop by this one if you're ever in SoCal. It's worth it !

Da front of the building...

Some of the stuff sittin' outside. The original Drag Safari trailer from back around '54, an old gas truck and a dragster on a rollback ! The digger was up at CHHR and is the SuperSnake digger. SOHC powered....

Hey, lets head inside this joint.
The Pierson Bros. coupe, a Bonneville runner...

So I don't have to try to remember the stuff about the cars I shot the info placard and you can just read that to garner some info about the ride.

Mickey Thompson's Challenger....LSR car

More in a minute...

Continuing on...

By no means all the cars, engines, etc, on display. There is much more especially in the glass cases. Yeah, you need to see it.....
