Yep ! Unless otherwise posted GTG's are always at 1 PM. The early birds are known to gather up to a half hour early. They usually last around 3 hours by the time the eatin' and BSing are done.

Name of the joint and the address is La Bamba, 21240 84th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032

Yahoo, Mapquest can help ya get there but our favorite is Google.

Fer you guys down WAY south just take the big road (I-5) north, then grab another big road on yer right (WA-512) around T-Town, and when ya run outa road swing a big gentle right and select another big road (WA-167) keepin' the sun on yer left. When you justa'bout run out of WA-167 sneak onto S 212th St. by rollin' on up the exit ramp and hang a left when ya run out of exit ramp. Roll on over WA-167 till ya come to 84th Ave. S an' stick yer arm straight out the winnder for a left. It's gonna be on yer left around a half block.

Or, if'n ya cain't follow them directions use this here link to help ya out....

Google Maps This'll get ya the name of the joint, some reviews, and will even give ya directions from wherever yer comin' from just by clickin' on the "Get directions: To here"

That ol' grandaddy Taurus could be carrying some precious cargo in it. Last I heard he was wurkin' on lightening the precious cargo to save a gram or two fer the dragstrip.

Meanwhile I think the Doc is gettin' ready to fling the knife (not sure he's up to "pullin' the trigger") on one of them new Taurus SHO's to cruise 167 and 405 on. At least until he starts tearing it apart within a week of buyin' it !

Hey Dan. Im still planning on going. Got a few things going on right now, but shouldn't get in the way of this. A little drive and some time to breath may be a good thing for me right now.

Ill let you know for sure as the time nears. I havent spoke with Damon about this yet, I dont know if he's seen this thread or not. He's a newly married man and he and his new wife have only been home a couple weeks so I dont think truck stuff is first on his mind right now

Been keeping an eye on those SHO's....I don't know if you guys remember Beefcake (Terry) but he has one and has been playing with it. Its run 12.75 @ 108 mph or thereabouts, but he is convinced the car will run 11's with a tune only....he is putting the stock air box back in it just so he can confirm that. Not bad for a 4600 lb heavy weight....also the 12.75 was with about 15lbs of boost.

Sonic--Looks I won't be able to make this trip, taking the granddaughters up to Hood River Saturday night to ride the Polar Express, then they'll be staying over night when we get home.

I will probably wait until spring, when it is dry, and make a run up then. That way the truck is clean. Maybe we can get together for pizza down here. Does anyone ever bring kids to the get-togethers, my 5 year old granddaughter loves to ride in Papa's truck, 'cuz its loud.
